Undoubtedly, the best benefit of all is knowing your kindness has the power to save many lives. Like Fry was first discovered at Lake Merritt in Oakland, tied to a pole with a pink leash. At first, she was shy and nervous, but over time, she grew more confident with people and other dogs, even jumping into a staff member’s lap and licking her face (these are the moments our team lives for).
