Yearly Events
Growl, Meow and Wine
Growl, Meow & Wine is the East Bay SPCA’s signature fundraising event. Guests enjoy a craft beer and wine tasting reception while poring over an array of silent auction items. The event transitions to a seated program featuring recent accomplishments from our CEO/President before the live auction energizes and takes over the room. Proceeds from the event support the East Bay SPCA’s mission. Save the date! This year’s Growl, Meow and Wine will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019.
Adopt-a-thon
Every year, the East Bay SPCA hosts more than 30 local animal shelters and rescues at beautiful Jack London Square in Oakland! As hosts, we aim to raise awareness about the thousands of homeless animals in our community and feature more than 300 of these adoptable pets to the public. Animals available at the event include dogs, cats, rats, birds and more. Mark your calendar, this year’s event will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019!
