Does your dog come when called? Having confidence in your dog’s recall offers safety and peace of mind — and Rocket Recall is a great first step in improving their skills.
We’re thrilled to welcome back Dr. Sophie Liu, author, veterinarian, and behavior consultant, for two foundational training seminars and demonstrations! Join us for Rocket Recall and learn actionable ways for your dog to develop consistent, enthusiastic recall.
Each seminar will detail practical tools and insights into canine behavior, using pre-selected working students to demonstrate recall training techniques in real time. Attendees will learn games and tools for establishing recall in Beginner Recall (November 1), and how to strengthen recall in the face of distractions in Advanced Recall (December 7).
Attendance at Beginner Recall is recommended but not required for Advanced Recall general admission.
Beginner Recall with Dr. Liu
Teaching solid recall is basically one big game, and a rocket recall is built when a dog really LOVES the game. The Beginner workshop will explore foundational skills, clear reinforcement, cue recognition, and how to gradually incorporate challenges or distractions.

Advanced Recall with Dr. Liu
Using the games learned in the Beginner workshop, Advanced Recall will explore resilience and recall speed. The emphasis will be on strengthening foundational skills in the face of gradually increasing challenges.
