Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program

The CIT Program is a great opportunity for teens (age 12-17) looking to gain volunteer experience with children and animals!  As a Counselor-In-Training, participants will assist our camp staff in leading engaging week-long sessions of Animal Camp.  CIT’s will help to facilitate crafts, games, lessons, and animal meet-and-greets throughout the camp session.

SPRING CIT PROGRAM

Ideal Candidate(s): For Spring Camp, we are only able to accept CITs who have already completed a summer as a CIT.

Location:  Camp sessions will be taking place at both locations (Oakland and Dublin).

Session Dates:  April 4-8 2022

Application Process:  Interested candidates should send an email to education@eastbayspca.org. Due to limited space, not all applicants will move along to being a CIT for the Spring Camp session. Please use an email address that you check frequently. All applicants must be available for the full session.

Fee:  Our Spring CIT Program has a $100 fee to supplement training and program materials. (Financial assistance available)
