Behavior and Training Helpline

Our Behavior and Training helpline is meant to provide assistance to pet owners on common behavior challenges and help keep pets in their homes.  Please first review our behavior and training resource library to see if we’ve already provided information on the issue you are experiencing with your pet. If you do not find the information you need in our library, we will need detailed information on your pet’s behavior issue.  In order for us to best assist you, please complete the form below.

If your pet is displaying aggression and you are in need of immediate assistance, we recommend you visit the Association of Professional Dog Trainer’s How to Choose A Dog Trainer site, including their Trainer Search which allows you to search for trainers in your area based on city, zip code, and services offered.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our behavior helpline form. Until it is back up and running, please direct behavioral inquiries to Please include:

  1. Description of all people/animals in your household
  2. Description of problem behavior in question, how long has it been going on, any major changes that may have preceded it
  3. Description of what you have previously attempted in order to solve the problem/how it’s worked

It is our goal to return your inquiry within 72 hours; however, due to the volume of inquiries and popularity of this service, responses may take up to one week.
