Second Chance Fund
Many animals arrive at our shelters with injuries, infirmities or behavioral problems that must be addressed before they can be ready for adoption, problems that other shelters and rescue groups don’t have the time or resources to handle. Our Second Chance program—funded entirely by individual donations—provides the extra care and treatment many animals need to flourish.
Dogs like Bantha, a 3-year-old spaniel/ terrier mix, who was rescued from a hoarding situation and Goodyear, a 7-month old kitten who was rescued by a good Samaritan after seeing the tiny kitten get hit by a car on the freeway.
Your donation to our Second Chance Fund will give more animals like Goodyear and Bantha all the care, attention, and time they need to begin life anew.
