How to Reclaim a Stray Animal

The best way to contact the East Bay SPCA is to immediately call (510) 569-0702 or email customercare@eastbayspca.org and include your contact information and the Animal ID number in your correspondence. Our social media pages are not monitored 24 hours a day.

We are available during Shelter in Place by appointment only (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, daily, except holidays). It is important that you act quickly to reclaim your lost pet. We are required by law to hold stray animals for five (5) business days before beginning adoption placement consideration.
