ABOUT US

If you are a new pet owner, or considering becoming a new pet owner, you'll find the answer to many of your common questions regarding pet ownership.

Pets can bring so much to our lives. But in return, we are responsible for theirs, and are making a committment to them for their entire lives. How long that is depends on what kind of pet you get, and its life span.

  • If you know at the outset that you cannot care for your pet throughout its life, please reconsider getting a pet.

  • If you are a parent and are considering a pet for your children, understand that you will be financially and ethically responsible for the pet's care, regardless of the promises your children make to you. Note that the average house dog or cat lives beyond 10-15 years; will your children still be at home caring for the pet?
